A city I would like to visit : L.A

Imagen
Hi everyone! Today i will write about a city that I would like to visit, Los Angeles. There are many things that makes me want to go to Los Angeles, the climate, the beach, the perfect streets for skateboarding. Those streets have cement paths that are very flat and smooth, the skateboard rolls easily and you can travel from one point to another distant one just by skating. When I watch Instagram stories or Youtube videos of people living in Los Angeles, they seem to have fun and enjoy a sunny weather, and the food that they eat look delicious. I think that the variety of places to eat in Los Angeles is very valuable, and if I lived there I would try every restaurant ! One interesting fact is that they brew some of the better beers in Los Angeles, so there is another good reason to visit it... Lol If there is one principal thing that attracts me to Los Angeles is the amount of museums and art exhibitions , I think people who live in L.A appreciate a lot more art in general
When I was younger, I used to go to see my family to France every summer, we were living in the fifth region of Chile, the region of Valparaiso. I first travelled alone in a plane at the age of 10, in 2008. My grandmother took care of me everytime i went to France, and I remember a lot of good moments with her. When it's summer in Chile, it's winter in France, and where I stayed with my grandmother it snowed a lot. Almost every year we went to Valberg, a ski station located in the south of France. We used to go to Valberg with my two cousins, a friend of them and both families, we stayed in a little appartment near the center of the city.  We skied during all the morning, in the evening we used to go to the library to read, and we played different card and table games after the dinner.  I clearly remember the night we went to the restaurant and we could eat all the pancakes we wanted. It was very cold outside, maybe it was snowing, and we were in the warmest place of the city

A Chilean building that I like: Bahái´s temple

A building that I like a lot is Bahái´s temple, it is located in the borough of Peñalolen. What I like about this building is his architecture, it gives the impression that it is spining. Due to his localization, you can view the whole city from above, in a beautiful place that is surrounded by many gardens and trees. A couple of months before, we went to that place with my girlfriend. We knew where to get off the bus, but didnt know we would have to walk almost 2 kilometers to reach the temple! Once we reached the parking lot, we walked toward the big temple, I remember it was so cold and a little bit rainy. We took photos from the outside and the view, then we silently entered the temple. Inside it, we couldnt make noise or take pictures, the place was envolved by a feeling of peace and tranquility. We could see outside because the walls were made of glass and iron, and the sound of the wind was inaudible. I had never had the experience of being in a temple with so many people and

For my vacations of fiestas patrias I went to Vicuña, the town where I lived the past 5 years (before coming to Santiago this year). We traveled by bus with my girlfriend, and the prices were pretty high because we left the city on Friday 15th. When we arrived to Vicuña, I felt the difference of the air. It was a fresh mor I was very excited for the "Pampilla" when i arrived to Vicuña (a place where people meet for Fiestras Patrias, with a lot of fondas), but in the end the place changed a lot so i was a little bit deceived. The municipality decided to put cement roads and to be honest they were not well designed, because they were too narow for the hundred of people that went to that place. I just went one day to pampilla, and I think I enjoyed more being with my old friends at the park or near the river drinking a beer. I also spent time with my parents, one day we went to the house of one of their friends and we had a good time eating together and sharing. When i w

Last weekend i went to Cajón del Maipo with my girlfriend and my mother. I got up early on Saturday morning, and we went to Baquedano station with my mom, where we met my girlfriend who was waiting for us. We traveled  by metro to a bus station located in the south of Santiago, and it wasn't easy to find the bus station because we had never traveled to Cajon del Maipo before.   When we were on our way to the first village, we were impressed by the greenery of the place. It reminded me to the south of Chile, the sky was grey and it was very cold.  After we visited San José de Maipo, me and my girlfriend travelled by bus following the route in direction to the chain of mountains. While my mother stood in the square of San José de Maipo, we were at 25 km to the east of San José, where we visited a long and dark tunnel (600 meters) and we took pictures of the landscape.  When we came back, we met my mother at the square and took the bus back to Santiago.
